Dual heating elements in the popular Models 300 & 600 bring full pot of solder to 400°F (204°C) in 15 minutes; to 750°F (399°C) in 25 minutes. Direct reading dial for adjusting thermostat within 350°F to 750°F (176°C to 399°C) range. Crucible made of chemically-stable cast iron to keep solder pure. Crucible is wide-lipped for fixturing and is center tapped to accommodate dross skimmer or additional fixturing.
The close
tolerance Model 675's control circuitry consists of a very accurate sensor
coupled with a solid state zero cross switching opto-coupled triac that
will instantly read and react to changes in the crucible temperature.
The control unit and pot both feature metal construction for ESD protection.
This temperature controlled Model 675 has a range of 400°F to 800°F.
